WESTERN REGIONAL STRAIN GAGE COMMITTEE
A Technical Division of the Society for Experimental Mechanics
                                                                                                                         

TECHNICAL:    WRSGC meets twice a year for two days to hear technical papers, participate in workshops and manufacturer's seminars (sponsors of the committee), participate on panels and tour a test facility in the area. 

Conferences are a key function of the committee, as this venue provides valuable opportunities to learn about new developments and research in strain gages and mechanical testing, and also provides access to networking and discussions with experts in this field. 

Due to legal, export, and proprietary issues associated with much of the technical discussion and presentations, in-depth technical information will not be posted on this website.  We do, however, welcome you to attend one of our conferences to become involved in the sharing and advancement of knowledge in strain gage and measurement applications.

In order to protect the privacy of contributing members and presenters, names and contact information is not shown on any website material.   You can visit our Members page, where you will find a list of many companies who are involved in this area.  Many of these companies have individuals who may be available for information and/or consulting services.
